Bryonia is formulated here in a potentized form that helps both on the physical and mental level. Energetically it is useful wherever inflamed, swollen connective tissues occur that typically hurt predominantly on movement and improve with rest. These tissues can be musculoskeletal related (as in joints), more related to the lungs (as in bronchitis and pneumonia, etc.), related to the digestive tract (causing mild colics), or associated mentally when one is enduring a headache where "it hurts to think".
