Healthy Weight™ Information Sheet

Caralluma fimbriata

Caralluma is a well known succulent vegetable, a bush of the cactus family, traditionally used in India not only for suppressing hunger but also for increasing endurance. Periodically it was used as a "famine food" when lack of food required suppression of hunger.

Various studies have shown that it is completely safe and has been granted GRAS (generally regarded as safe) status by the FDA.

Moreover, research in animal models found that when Caralluma was added to "cafeteria" style feeding, animals not only ate less because of reduced appetite but also maintained more normal levels of cholesterol, triglycerides and leptin.

Kaneka GlavonoidTM

This ingredient is a patented extract of the licorice root. It contains flavonoids that are targeted to reduce visceral fat, the main cause of the metabolic syndrome. (Maintaining a healthy, low level of visceral fat also aids in keeping insulin resistance low.)

Scientific studies conducted with Kaneka GlavonoidTM allow the following conclusions:

  • With diet and exercise, helps achieve a reduction in visceral fat.
  • Helps maintain healthy body fat composition and metabolism.
  • Supports lean weight maintenance.
  • Promotes healthy lipid metabolism, which helps the body utilize fat efficiently.

Holistic aspects

Trace minerals derived from emerald and rhythmically prepared horsetail extracts have been added here in order to strengthen the subtle functions of the solar plexus. Only when the organism is supported not just in a physical but also in a spiritual manner is a comprehensive, holistic result achieved.
