Dioscorea Flour Dioscorea flour can be easily used in your everyday cooking and baking. Dioscorea flour can be added to any recipe calling for flour—breads, cakes and more. Most common use is to replace 10% of the flour called for in the recipe with the Sample Recipes:
Separate egg whites from yolks. Whip egguntil stiff and set aside. Combine all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl. While mixing on low speed add milk, egg yolks and oil. Mix until even consistency. Gently fold egg whites into mixed batter with a spatula. Ready to use in waffle iron or on pancake griddle. Serve with fresh fruit, maple syrup or with your own preferred toppings. Combine all dry ingredients and mix in a bowl. Combine all wet ingredients and mix in a separate bowl. Stir both until well mixed. Fold the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients until well combined. Butter a cast iron skillet (best results) or a baking pan. Smooth the batter into the skillet or baking pan and place in oven preheated to 350 degrees. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a knife or toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Serve with butter, honey, with your favorite soup or chili, or any other delicious way you can imagine.
