About True Botanica
|
We create innovative nutraceutical supplements, herbal tinctures, functional foods and natural cosmetics. The blending of unique ingredient mixes with novel manufacturing techniques results in synergistic formulations for a deeper health of body, mind and spirit.
Some of the features that we are particularly proud of are:
o A threefold design to our products that makes them particularly effective on all three levels of body, mind and spirit.
o A line of oils and creams where the active ingredients are standardized and declared on the label, a completely novel practice in the natural topical creams sector (for example, Arnica Forte cream, Chamomile cream, Rosemary oil).
o A proprietary method for a more efficient extraction of herbal materials, resulting in a non alcoholic tincture.
o New blends of entirely natural fragrances, valuable for the cosmetic line and aromatherapy, such as a blend of rhododendron and other steam distilled essential oils. These are also currently used in our face moisturizer, cleanser cream, bath oils, salt body scrubs and health creams.
o Use of imported, highest quality ingredients not available in the US, such as natural oils extracted by the super critical fluid CO2 extraction method, which is solvent and residues free and insures a pharmaceutical purity and quality of the active ingredients.
o Use of the new oil- to- powder technique, which allows taste control for various off- putting ingredients that can now be marketed more easily (also to children) and/or included in novel formulations.
o Vacuum pump containers for products and use of natural antioxidants and anti-microbials, allow largely the avoidance of the use of artificial preservatives.
o A specialized mixing style achieved with an imported Swiss bioengineering mixer (the Inversina™ mixer).
o Work of the employees active in the manufacturing area in two shifts such that proprietary rhythmical processes can be achieved.
The company is located in semi-rural Delafield, Wisconsin. We meet on a weekly basis as a co-worker group to share with each other important directions and developments in the company and to review valuable feedback from our customers. We draw inspiration from the prolific work of the scientist Rudolf Steiner. Beyond the health of the individual person these products are meant to promote a socially and environmentally responsible lifestyle. We intend an economic and healing network of communities that are connected through True Botanica products, services and education. A warm and humane relationship between the company and customers will constitute the basis of our business success.
